System Settings>>Log Management

"Log Management" is used to configure automatic backup settings and do manually history delete.

1. Storage Status

Current storage status.

2. Auto Backup Settings

2.1 Enable Auto Backup

Enable Auto Backup.

2.2 Backup Options

This section is for automatic backup. Two backup type are supported("backup and delete" and "delete directly"). You also need set the backup days. Old data will be backuped or deleted.

2.3 Backup Directory

Backup directory is the absolute path, for example: "D:\backup".

2.3 Auto Backup Time

Backup or purge will be run on scheduled time.

3. Import Backup Data

Clicking "Import History" to import backuped history data to WFilter.

3.1 Record Type

Choose the record type you want to import. Unselect means all.

3.2 "Begin Date" and "End Date" 3.3 Backup Directory

Path of backup files.

3.4 IP or Name

If you only want to import a certain person's record history, type its name or ip in the "IP or Name". Leave it blank if you want to import all.

4. Delete Log History

You can delete history logs manually.

1. Both file based storage and database storage are supported by WFilter.

2. You may choose the database type during installation if you are using a database version.

3. Backup directory is the absolute path. If the directory doesn't exist, a new folder will be created.

4. Please set an suitable backup days considering your management needs and hardware capacities.
