协议概述

Google Talk uses Jabber protocol。Jabber is best known as "the Linux of instant messaging" -- an open， secure， ad-free alternative to consumer IM services like AIM， ICQ， MSN， and Yahoo (see the IM quickstart).

通讯方式

Google Talk 使用TCP通讯方式，默认登陆和主要通讯端口为TCP 5222，当TCP 5222端口不通时，则Google Talk不到服务器。

如何封堵Google Talk？

由于Google Talk通讯端口固定，所以可以通过传统的封堵端口的方式来限制Google Talk的使用。 我们建议您可以采用以下两种方式来管理Google Talk：

• 1). 采用端口封堵的方式，用防火墙把局域网内的某些IP或IP段的公网端口TCP 5222端口禁止掉。
• 2). 使用专用的上网监控软件，专业的上网监控软件可以对网络数据进行分析过滤，从中筛选出Google TalkQ通讯数据，进而封堵掉该链接实现监控。
