SoulSeek是一个免费的点对点文件共享程序，主要面向MP3音乐文件共享。

Soulseek(tm) is a Community system based on Peer-to-Peer technology. Virtual rooms allow you to meet people with the same interests as you， share information， and discuss things freely with real-time messages in public or private.

An advanced built-in Matchmaker also guides you to people with the same tastes as you. The service is offered through downloadable Client software for maximum real-time interactivity. This software comes with absolutely no spyware， adware or banners.

通讯方式

Soulseek使用TCP通讯方式，默认登陆端口为TCP 2240，当TCP 2240端口不通时，则登陆失败。聊天和搜索下载文件时也是通过TCP 2240端口先与服务器进行连接，然后进行各自的点对点的连接通讯。

如何封堵Soulseek？

由于Soulseek的通讯端口比较固定，所以可以通过传统的封堵端口的方式来限制Soulseek的使用。 我们建议您可以采用以下两种方式来管理Soulseek：

• 1). 采用端口封堵的方式，用防火墙把局域网内某些IP火IP段的公网端口TCP 2240禁止掉。
• 2). 使用专用的上网监控软件，专业的上网监控软件可以对网络数据进行分析过滤，从中筛选出Soulseek通讯数据，进而封堵掉该链接实现监控。
