Windows Active Directory

You may use this feature to enable monitoring/filtering by domain accounts.

1. Settings

  1. Enabled / Disabled: enable or disable integration with windows active directory.
  2. Add: add a domain settings.
  3. Edit: edit a domain settings.
  4. Delete: delete a domain settings.

2. Advanced Settings

  1. Automatically add new found domain account, and set its default blocking policy.
  2. "Enable web authentication for computers which do not log into the domain": if a computer does not logon into the domain, or WFilter can't retrieve a computer's domain logon information, web authentication is required for this computer to access internet.
  3. "Block all internet access for computers which do not log into the domain": if not enabled, only web access is blocked for web authentication.
  4. "Account timeout": account timeout condition in WFilter.
  5. "Interval of polling domain controller": frequency for WFilter to poll the domain controller server.
  6. "Interval of polling client computers": frequency for WFilter to poll client computers.
  7. "Web Authentication port": port for web authentication webpage.
  8. "Account Exception List": AD users shall be ignored by WFilter, one user per line, case insensitive.

Notice

  1. Re-login of AD accounts is required for WFilter to detect logon AD accounts.
