1. Introduction
ICQ and AIM are the most popular instant message software all over the world.
They both use the same communication protocol OSCAR. OSCAR use tcp port 5190 as the main connection port, If 5190 is unreachable,
it will try port 80 and 443. AIM/ICQ also can connect via a http/https/sock4/sock5 proxy server.

2. How to monitor AIM and ICQ?
Because AIM/ICQ can communicate via http and https, so you can not block them by only disable one single port in the firewall.
We suggest you manage AIM/ICQ's usage in two ways below:
- 1). Block all AIM/ICQ's server IP addresses.
- 2). Use professional network products to manage AIM/ICQ's usage.
